PPID was founded on Immigration Law

Founder, Arthur Pollack, was born in Yonkers, NY but moved to Germany as a young child. Luckily, he escaped Nazi Germany in the 1930s, returning to America where he subsequently served the U.S. in World War II first as a paratrooper and, after the war, as a translator at the Nuremberg Trials. He was particularly well-suited for this role as he had a natural gift for languages, eventually becoming fluent in 13 different tongues. Following his graduation from law school provided by the G.I. Bil, Mr. Pollack founded a law firm specializing in U.S. immigration law.

Arthur’s son, Conrad Pollack, graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1985 and joined his father’s firm. While both father and son looked forward to working together, unforeseen circumstances caused their time to be cut short. Arthur Pollack passed away, leaving Conrad in charge of the firm at the young age of 26 years old.

Under Conrad’s management the firm rapidly expanded. He was quickly joined by renowned litigator Brian J. Isaac (head of the appellate department) and Fred A. DeCicco (head of real estate / commercial law department), and together they officially established Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP
