Biography

GREGG A. PINTO is Of Counsel at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP. Mr. Pinto began his career at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, primarily working on assaults, gun and drug possession, shootings, robberies, and DWI cases. He was promoted to the prestigious Rackets Division, where he investigated Grand Larceny, Fraud, Police Brutality, Police Misconduct, Corruption, Perjury, Counterfeiting, and Hate Crimes.

Mr. Pinto was the Senior Assistant District Attorney in charge of several high-profile Firearms-Trafficking investigations which garnered the attention of the New York Times, the New York Post, the New York Daily News, New York 1, and the WCBS-NY News, among other media outlets. In 2012, Mr. Pinto capped his distinguished career at the DA’s Office by running a Firearms Trafficking wiretap which safely removed 87 firearms from the streets of Brooklyn.

In 2013, Mr. Pinto entered private practice as a solo practitioner. Using the skills he learned at the Brooklyn DA’s office, Mr. Pinto primarily practices criminal defense, Title IX defense, commercial litigation, civil litigation, employment litigation, real estate and landlord/tenant law. Gregg is admitted to practice law in New York State, as well as the Southern and Eastern District of New York Federal Courts. In 2014, Gregg was chosen to serve on the Referral Panel of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association. In 2015, Gregg was selected as an Attorney Advisor by Columbia University, advising students engaged in Gender-Based Misconduct investigations. In 2018, Gregg was named a SuperLawyer New York Metro Rising Star. He is also a member of the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the Brooklyn Bar Association.
