Entertainer
P-1 visas apply only to entertainers coming to the U.S. through a government-recognized exchange program. These types of non-immigrant visas apply to athletes, artists, musicians and other entertainers. The applicant must provide evidence of qualifying skills, as only internationally recognized entertainers are able to apply. A P-1 visa can also only be used for a specific competition or performance.
A New York P1 visa lawyer at our firm, who is experienced in immigration law, can work with applicants who wish to obtain a P-1 visa. Along with a visa, the entertainer may also apply for temporary visas for his or her essential personnel. They are also able to engage in part time study and receive U.S. money for the event or performance they are involved in.
